Was in Glasgow for a friend’s wedding, and location was the main factor for booking! Wonderfully polite and friendly staff always helpful and accommodating! Bar was welcoming and comfortable did not eat but breakfast did look nice! Room was clean comfortable spacious and warm! Had a great stay and will definitely book again if staying in city centre

We got a great deal on this wee hotel and we weren’t disappointed. Quiet comfortable night (great air con) and a good breakfast which included square sausage is all we wanted and that’s what we got. Added bonus of a goody bag with Tunnocks tea cakes and Irn bru.

Good central location yet quiet & comfortable with a good breakfast. I had an overnight mid-week stay en route to Fort William and was pleased to find that check-in was 2pm, allowing me time to explore for a few hours. And check-out is 11am (perfect for my late morning train - a 5-min walk to Queen St station). Reception was friendly and as an Accor member, I was given a goodie bag of Scottish treats of a couple of cans of Irn-Bru & Tunnocks Tea-Cakes - nice touch! Room was relatively small but clean, quiet with a comfortable bed and the usual amenities. A good hot/cold buffet breakfast with a few staff milling about topping up items and clearing/cleaning tables. It's easy for hotels to abuse their city centre position, but this place seems to know how to treat their customers - well done!

Disappointing stay at this hotel, May 2024. I had a one night stay at this hotel. The staff seemed rather disinterested. No acknowledgement at breakfast, just looked straight through me. The late evening staff did not know what a Chardonnay was?? No clean wine glasses and no attempt to find one - “ I am not bar staff”? How bizarre. The room was very small and felt quite confined. There are too many good hotels for me to rebook with this one.

We always do our best to make our guests feel welcome and can only apologise that the staff member you interacted with may have been from an agency who sometimes help us out but are not able to serve alcohol due to Scottish Licencing laws. A very pleasant stay for work. Very close to everything, the hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the city. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The hotel provides free coffee and tea, which was a nice addition. The room was spacious with a decent view.
